EVIDENT’s consortium has been set up to consist of partners from all related areas in a well balanced way. EVIDENT partners are geographically spread over 5 European countries, characterised by different cultures and fiscal situations, which range from Ireland to the Cyprus, Greece and Sweden, all of them striving towards enhancing the competitiveness of their enterprises. They consists of Universities, Research Institutes, Research Organizations, SMEs and Industries /end users.

UOWM invests in innovative educational programs and multidisciplinary fields of research that correspond to the needs of the modern world. Till now, UOWM has managed more than 150 projects, while coordinating many H2020, international and national projects.

DUTH has been participated in many European funded projects in which contributed its experience in empirical finance and economics. EVIDENT presents the opportunity for the writing of high-quality research publications as well as ensuring the continued relevance of the economic tools developed prior to this project.

PPC participates in EVIDENT by providing anonymised customer data to assist the socioeconomic studies and behavioural analytics, aiming to extract new policies and recommendations for policymakers and stakeholders.

Trinity College Dublin, The University of Dublin is Ireland’s foremost university. The Centre for Innovative HumanSystems (CIHS), located within the School of Psychology, brings together a multidisciplinary capability in understanding human behaviour, attitudes and stakeholder engagement. Behavioural Science, research and experimental design has been central to their practice. TCD will support EVIDENT through policy implementation and pilot design. CIHS’ research efforts have provided significant insights into the complex dynamics of organisational performance, focusing on the interplay between technology, people, knowledge and impact.

Considering the value of data, their vision is to support businesses to optimize their operation by introducing intelligence and raising alarms when necessary. Bi2S team mainly consists of experienced engineers with a strong scientific background on algorithms, machine learning, data management and semantics. This allows them to better understand new technologies and innovative techniques and adapt their solutions to several application domains such as agriculture, health, education, transportation and environment.

Its work directly impacts citizens’ lives by contributing with its research outcomes to a healthy and safe environment, secure energy supplies, sustainable mobility and consumer health and safety. JRC draws on over 60+ years of scientific experience and continually builds its expertise in knowledge production and knowledge management while also hosting specialist laboratories and unique research facilities and is home to thousands of scientists.

The Centre for Research and Technology Hellas (CERTH) is one of the largest research centres in Greece. It was founded in 2000 and is located in Thessaloniki. Its mission is to promote the triplet Research – Development – Innovation by conducting high quality research and developing innovative products and services while building strong partnerships with industry and strategic collaborations with academia. CERTH is one of the leading Institutions of Greece in the fields of Informatics, Telematics and Telecommunications, with long experience in numerous European and national R&D projects. For the last 10 years, the publication record of CERTH includes more than 330 scientific publications in international journals, more than 780 publications in conferences and 100 books and book chapters. CERTH has a staff of approximately 360 people (including senior researchers, research assistants and associates and Postdoctoral Research Fellows).

Checkwatt is developing marketing solutions that helps Swedish households and companies become smarter and more sustainable in their energy usage. Checkwatt first service EnergyInBalance was introduced in 2013 with the vision of achieving a balance between energy usage and production. It has since been expanded with many new features out of which solar PV system performance monitoring is a large share. More than 4500 PV are connected, sending data in near real-time. Checkwatt’s virtual power plant brings distributed energy storage online to provide ancillary services to the electrical grid. Currently monitors solar production and decides if it is most favourable to charge battery, sell energy to the grid or use the energy in the house. Checkwatt Energy Control Panel offers a monitoring solution for retailers, real estate and installation companies. Checkwatt was originally created as a spin-off based on results from several EU projects in FP7.
